A few years ago, they seemed to be destined to win 10 or more games forever, with their seeming ability to cherry pick almost whatever talent they wanted in the state, big money backers, and their own TV network to further fuel the budget. Nowadays, a bowl game isn't even a given. Likewise, the SEC won't be the favored conference forever. It will take longer for a whole conference to fall than a single school, but it will happen.
