ScottyIce
Well this is interesting, only helps if Miami can get on a nice roll and maybe pull off the nearly impossible and beat FSU at home? Wow, that would help us out a bunch I'd imagine. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
The narrative would be that it doesnt matter since Miami totally sucked when we played them and obviosly improved leaps and bound thereafter. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
I see the transitive property works when it favors Nebraska. No wonder I failed trig. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
Help us how? In all seriousness (my above comment as smartassery) if for some reason we do win out and win the CCG and are in legit playoff talks, Miami getting on a roll and winning would help. The OP is correct, on a pretty obvious observation. 1 Quote Link to comment
Redux
If a team you handle early on goes on to win a conference title it looks pretty good to a playoff comittee. Still pribs a long shot. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
If we're in the playoff discussion at the end of the season it will be because of a win against a highly ranked OSU or MSU in the CCG. Not a 3-4 loss Miami team. Quote Link to comment
HuskerCarter
I honestly thought this topic was gonna be a "Miami beat VT, VT beat OSU, and we beat Miami, our chances look very good to beat OSU" thread. Quote Link to comment

ADS
Virginia Tech is a bad team, and it really showed last night. That win over OSU is the biggest fluke so far this season. Quote Link to comment

Redux
Winning against MSU or tOSU would be the catalust to a playoff berth. But having beaten an ACC Champ or runner up would surely help pad the resume so maybe we dont get looked over. Quote Link to comment
