T_O_Bull
AP has pleaded out his case for CHILD ABUSE. He has sat out several games, all while collecting more money for this short period of time than most of us will make in a lifetime. This guy has multiple children out there with multiple women. Is this not to be seen as part of the definition of IRRESPONSIBILTY? I realize that that the male of our species is led by his 'LITTLE GENERAL' until he ages somewhere past 35 years of age but in this age of AIDS and STD's don't you at least try to protect yourself when you just feel like a quick piece of tail? Well now NFL owners and GM's are wondering if this guy can help their team out for the rest of the season. I just want him to go away. He beat his young son with a stick and in the process drew blood. DREW BLOOD! I once severely disciplined my son but it was with my voice (He deserved it.) but from that point on I stood at his side and gave him the support he needed. All I can say to Peterson is, "Step up Peterson. Take care of your extended family. You've earned plenty of money to do that. And now just disappear, A$$HOLE!" T_O_B Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
The more you find out about the guy the worse human being he is. Now a days it doesn't seem to matter. If you're good at football, you're nearly untouchable. As I said earlier in a status update, if there was a video of Peterson beating this boy things would be different. For some reason people just aren't as shocked by things. Almost dead to the emotions of it unless they see it with their own eyes. In my opinion Peterson needs more time away. He shouldn't be paid. He should actually face some sort of punishment for this. What punishment for this beating has he recieved really? Aside from some people he'll never meet face to face calling him a despicable POS. He can move right past that. He's got money, he doesn't give a damn what other people think. The guy should be punished. Never play again? I don't know. I believe in second chances but I'm betting AP has had plenty. Maybe he plays again, but he shouldn't just walk away from this suffering no consequences. Quote Link to comment

killer cacti
I can't imagine my dad losing his job because he hit me with a belt. Guess what? I deserved it. Then again, he never drew blood. Left some marks though. Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
Something tells me your dad wasn't a public figure and potential role model to millions. 1 Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Something tells me your dad wasn't a public figure and potential role model to millions. Yep. That's what makes it different. Comparing it to a normal job doesn't make sense. Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
He didn't give him a belt to the bottom. He repeatedly hit a small child with a stick and bruised and drew blood. Most of us got a little spanking etc as a child but never once did I have bruises or blood on me afterwards. A red ass is all that resulted Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
Whoppin your kid with a belt is not the same as what happened here. It's just not. I still cant believe some people are still trying to compare the two. This is not about the right to punish your children. Adrian went FAR beyond that concept. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
So now today the NFLPA is at its basis point defending AP. BS. He's got his money, he has multiple kids with multiple mothers, he's been payed for not playing, millions, possibly extending his career if he is allowed to play. This is all total BS! If you or I do this we are in jail with a Public Defender. If this guy ever plays for another NFL team may God look down and let them lose on the last play of every game. If you wear his jersey on your body let the shingles virus attack you. Harsh? Damn right. 29 yr. old man over a 4 yr. old child, and he needed a stick? Does this disgust me? Oh my God, how can you ask? If MN takes him back then lets give MN back to Canada. Want a piece of someone your size Adrian? Come meet this 68 year old man, I guarantee you won't walk away from this nasty old man! You are nothing more than a COWARD! Bring it a$$hole. T_O_B Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
AP issued a statement this week. Lot's of words, probably written by his lawyer and others on his team. Don't care what was said all I heard was, "I'm sorry I got caught and I still want my money." T_O_B Quote Link to comment
