T_O_Bull
...but something inside me died today. I became a total and true Husker Fan on Thanksgiving Day when JR broke his run and we beat Oklahoma in the Game of the Centenary. I have not wavered since. I have endured the losses. Many that ripped my heart from my chest but I never waivered because I believed in those that controlled the program. Davaney, those that succeeded him and TO. When TO retired my first response was 'Can we just pleze keep this going?' We didn't. Now I ask myself, "Can I maintain my passion for this era of Husker Football? T_O_B Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Might be a bit of an overreaction if you even need to say that you aren't going to commit to suicide I mean that should be a complete given that goes without saying Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
Thanks LL but suicide is not part of me, for any reason. It was a metaphor for how I feel about where we are at as what was once a significant football program. T_O_b Quote Link to comment
