Eric the Red
Hail Varsity's Brandon Vogel mentioned, "Nebraska had its shot - 205 seconds to go 75 yards. And on that drive, Abdullah ... touched the ball once.” Review the last drives of both Minnesota and Michigan St. and you will notice our best player wide open several times. Armstrong tried going way down field at times when Nebraska was in decent position with plenty of time left. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
If we're still talking about individual drives, we're having the wrong conversation. There are much, much bigger problems than Ameer's touches going on in this program right now. 1 Quote Link to comment
admo
Yeah there was plenty of time. Had all our timeouts. Makes you wonder what kind of two minute drill they practice for moments like these. Because it looked like there wasn't a plan. Quote Link to comment

True2tRA
I know when I watch a 19-23 year old player make the same mistakes over and over, I tend to blame the player. Not the grown ass man who gets paid $750,000+ to coach the kid. Tommy was a better QB at the end of last season than he is now. Maybe we take some of the mental mindfaq away during the week and Tommy comes back. Good Lord I'd love to see these players get a chance to play for someone else. By the way, I'm not relinquishing the players of all responsibility, but when a staff repeatedly blames the players but then goes on to not hold any player accountable, it kind of deflates that bullsh#t pretty quick. Smart coaches don't let the same guys go out over and over again and repeatedly destroy their teams progress. We marched the same eleven out all season long aside from injuries, on both sides of the ball. Then blamed THEM for not doing their jobs right. Quote Link to comment

No peer, just Beck pi$$ing down his leg again............ Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
I think the fullback busting open holes must have just been for Senior Day because we didn't want to keep up any of that nonsense when we could sling long passes into coverage. Someone must have scripted this game for it to be so obviously bad.........I don't think that happens by chance. A little bit of this and a little bit of that equals a lot of nothing.
