Anyone Watching flights?

Is it just me, or does this all seem slightly obsessive?

Nah. I wouldn't have any idea what you're talking about. On an unrelated note, is it weird to hit refresh every 2 minutes I'm not even joking?

Yes, it is weird. I've been doing it every 30 seconds

All I know is this obsessive behavior is driving my wife crazy and reducing my productivity at work.

No way SE flies out of Lincoln direct to a close city or vice versa with a coach. 2 planes would be used and my guess is fly close but not to lincoln or Omaha.. After us busting them on the last round of hirings.

Gonna make tracking almost impossible. Gonna need to get lucky and somebody at an FBO seeing something.

On this note, when was the last time SE was seen in Lincoln? I know he was there Sunday night to speak with the players, but has he been in the admin office on campus all week?

I believe I Socko stated that Ginga Ninja was out of the office Monday and Tuesday... I also heard the rumor that Pearlman flew to San Fran Saturday night and GN did the same sunday night and had yet to return... who knows, if any of it, is true

So the plane landed at 12:27 pm and is leaving Columbus at 9:57 about 9 hours. I takes about 3 hours to drive to Youngstown from Columbus.

At 6:27 Jim Tressel did tweet out

Enjoying a YSU holiday tradition tonight - Carols & Cocoa with our talented Dana School of Music Students

That gave us 3 hours to do our talking by the time Tressel leaves for this YSU holiday tradition to drive 3 hours back to Columbus for the trip back to Lincoln.

SO arrive at 12:27 then drive 3 ours which would put them at 3:27 in Youngstown. Do a lot of talk about the contract, when it'll be announced, NCAA sanctions, Husker sweater vest and then say their goodbyes so Tressel can head to the YSU holiday tradition. Leave Youngstown at 6 for the 3 hour trip back to Columbus to fly out at 9:57 back to Lincoln

What do you think?

Either that or the Tressel deal is in the bag and Eichorst is running around poaching from Tressel assistant shopping list.

One other thing, a certain benefactor of the university not just the athletic department that lives in Omaha is chairman of a large company that has a subsidiary named NetJets.. They could get anyone anywhere and no one would know.

so now the AD is flying in jets that don't file flight plans?

I think the point was that we don't have any clue what airport might be used if it is a NeJet or other plane. They could just as easily fly to Des Moines and then board another plane, or fly to multiple cities before hitting a destination.

Hey people! Don't post on here much but have been enjoying reading everything the past little while. Not sure if this has been addressed but I thought I'd mention that the Walmart headquarters are just north of Fayetteville. This could just be some Walmart exec who had business in Lincoln. Just a thought

Actually flight plans are not necessarily mandated. Also they could be filed one way and modified to another. But if you file one from Lincoln to scottsbluff ,Las Vegas or grand island is it gonna raise anyone's attention? And what about a flight from Las Vegas too say Eugene or San Fran? Use 2 plane. The permeatations are endless
