HuskerPowerVA
It will certainly be fun watching the staff being constructed. I am even more excited about a late push to a recruiting season that needs a strong finish. What are your thoughts about our largest recruiting needs? What geographical areas might be tapped into now that were not over the last decade? Might some prospects give a second look at us? Quote Link to comment

Hedley Lamarr
Also a juco LB couldn't hurt as well as a corner Quote Link to comment

I know his RB coach is from Texas. We had been hitting Florida with playing down their last few years for our bowl, be interesting to see if that continues. Warren had been killing Georgia, so if his retention or lack of will affect that. If Riley's Dline coach comes we could see some Hawaiian/Polynesian guys. Along with JUCOs which Riley has tapped into mainly through this guy. Riley had a kid from Edna Carr (New Orleans school that produced Walton, Tolbert and Irons....same area as Bussey and Morgan). So hopefully he is decently familiar with that area. I think it will be important to hire some big time recruiters or at least a couple guys with Big10 area ties. We have to lock down the 500 mile radius. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Hedley: I looked through the JUCO QB's awhile back, didn't see many that were too impressive to me that were not committed to big schools. What makes you want a CB? No faith in Davie, Rose, Kalu, Cjax, Cockrell, Jones, Mosley, and hopefully Eric Lee? Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Before Mirko decommitted, there was talk that Bo and staff were looking for a LB, OL, DE, WR, and QB. I would guess Riley will see a similar need for depth at these positions. Quote Link to comment

But then Singleton left and if Love and Hart leave we could easily be at 19-22....and that is without 1-2 more leaving. That would count Moss returning (which I have not heard anything on). Hopefully someone that can come in and start ASAP. I like the "potential" we have at CB but Davie isn't anything special and Cockrell is a safety IMO. Kalu looks promising. So IMO we have Kalu and then either average or unknown at the other CB spot Quote Link to comment

Had some balls where he was perfectly "right there", just didn't turn in time but I'd hope more PT will let him grow into that. Plays the run decent too. I agree Cockrell is probably a safety. If riley brings his secondary coach He might actually be able to help these guys out. Not impressed with Warren except for recruiting Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Looking at OSU recruits, shouldn't we be after that 90 overall from San Fran? Quote Link to comment

Warrior10
Looking at OSU recruits, shouldn't we be after that 90 overall from San Fran? He's visiting Wash St. today so must be looking around. I can't find any film on him through 247. Not exactly sure we need a safety either. Gerry, Leroy, Cockrell, Kieron Williams, then Aaron Williams and Anderson coming in (maybe a nickelback/CB).
