This I agree with. Bussey would be most talented back on our roster. We will be fine without him though. Wilbon was a plan b or c that decommitted from vandy right? Bussey is and has always been our only guy and we have fended off the wolves until right up until signing day. Too bad we couldn't hold the sec off any longer. Kid will be special.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't know if we were necessarily slotting Ballage in as a RB for sure. He was listed as an athlete, so if we got both of them, he may have played elsewhere. I'm positive we would've taken both if we could!

 

Does anyone believe hiring Fisher back would boost our chances of landing Bussey? Wouldn't it almost be worth it to hire him back even if it were for 1 year if it meant Bussey?

However we accepted Wilbon's commitment before Ballage decided so we musta been pretty happy with him. And lastly let's not act like Ballage did anything special as a true freshman, he ran for 112 yards all year.

Ballage committed Dec 11th. WIlbon committed Jan 26th. At least that is according to the recruiting websites.

He didn't do anything special but he is going to be. I don't know if you watched when he did get to play but he looked impressive. I think he is a better back at this stage than Newby is for our team, and definitely than WIlbon is for our team right now.

That is maybe what you could expect from Wilbon or Bussey next year though. My gut tells me Riley might want to go with a power running game once he sees Cross go to work.

He didn't do anything special but he is going to be. I don't know if you watched when he did get to play but he looked impressive. I think he is a better back at this stage than Newby is for our team, and definitely than WIlbon is for our team right now.

The guy is a monster. I think he gets first shot from Riley. Just a hunch. Newby isn't special. I hope I'm wrong but in 2 years I haven't seen anything to think otherwise. Taylor hasn't been healthy, so hard to say what to expect from him. Wilbon has a shot. Bussey would as well.
