Dana Altman sued

I never like Altman. Went to his bball camps with H.S. team and he hated us. We were from small town Nebraska, played physical, and were too hard on his "special teams" he brought in to try and get in good with so the kids would come play for CU. Guy was a complete Douche!! Taking this for Karma.

The lawsuit alleges that Altman knew when he recruited Brandon Austin that the player had been suspended from Providence College due to allegations of sexual misconduct. Austin transferred from Providence to Oregon.

Interesting in light of the discussion in the Avery Moss thread.

Totally different IMO. This has sexual contact as a part of it. One side saying consensual the other saying it wasn't.

But she is suing because she said that Altman and the university allowed him on campus despite his past sexual misconduct investigation.

But they are saying he basically raped her. Don't think Moss did that.

She is suing Altman and U of Oregon for knowing the guy had a history with sexual misconduct and still brought him on campus.

Correct. I'm just saying this instance and Moss's aren't the same.

It makes no difference. Both were/are known to have issues with sexual conduct. A coach or a University are not going to take a chance on allowing them in only to have something horrible happen down the road.

So you don't think Moss will end up somewhere else playing football??

BRB is right. The university is playing the what-if game. You may not like it but today's society dictates that it must be done this way.

He probably will. And if he acts up, the coaches and university could get sued just like Oregon. Nebraska is choosing to not play the odds.

Yeah...what St. Paul said and I'm fine with the University's decision on this.
