Mavric Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Pretty well confirmed that he's moving to LB. The new staff is really looking to load up on LBs. If he can help, that's great. But I kind of see him spending a year there then getting moved back to safety after we get a few more guys on campus. Quote Link to comment

I think he could be an effective LB, if he can put on good weight, without sacrificing his speed. This position move isn't like Gerry, as Gerry is only 6'1" (guessing), so he would have had trouble keeping his weight up. Gifford is listed at 6'3", so he has a bigger frame to keep the weight on.
