2015 Super Six

Recommended Posts

Once again this year the staff at Nebraska247/Huskers Illustrated asked some the Nebraska media members to select their "Super Six" recruits and a "Sleeper" in this year's class.

Here is what they thought: HI: The 2015 Super Six

The composite ranking from all 18 media members is as follows:

3. Carlos Davis, DL, Blue Springs
4. Avery Anderson, CB, Pine Creek
4. Dedrick Young, LB, Centennial
6. Matt Snyder, TE, California

Sleepers: Alex Davis and Devine Ozigbo

3b - Carlos Davis - Have some DTs in front of them but when they get their chance they'll be very good

5 - Christian Gaylord - Will have plenty of opportunity to play at a position of need

6 - Stanley Morgan - Nearly Westerkamp hands and a slightly better athlete

Sleeper - Devine Ozigbo

1. Eric Lee - Polished corner with a nice frame.

2. Khalil Davis

3. Carlos Davis - The twins are going to be nice fixtures of the class. They're incredibly athletic for their size and will be excellent contributors on the defensive side of the ball.

4. Dedrick Young - Best LB of our recruiting class. Best athlete of all our LBs as well.

5. Stanley Morgan - Nice size for a WR. Has great hands and is a smooth route runner. Not a burner like Alston, but moves very well. One of our better pure WR recruits in awhile.

6. Avery Anderson - Recruited as a corner but has the frame of a safety. Great overall athlete.

Sleeper: Aaron Williams - Was a great player in Georgia and was twice named all state.

1. Mohamed Barry - possibly my favorite film of the group. Fights off blocks well, good instincts and fast.

2. Michael Decker - holds down a guard spot for 4 years after a redshirt year

3. Stanley Morgan - love how he high points the ball, can't remember the last Sker WR to do so consistently.

4. The Twins Davis - cheating here but one of the two will be great. Will be 2 years down the line though.

5. Matt Snyder - will see the field early, huge get in this class.

6. Devine Ozigbo - fits Riley's back. Different from big backs Adam/Imani in he talks longer strides and has more wiggle to him.

Sleeper - Antonio Reed - has the tools to be a big time nickel.

I do think both Eric Lee of Avery Anderson are studs as well.

Surprised to see so many without Jalin Barnett, dude is a stud. He'll be a 3-4 year starter with proper coaching.

1--Jalin

2/3--Davis Twins

4--Anderson

5--Stanley Morgan (going three wide with Morgan, Westy, DPE, Cethan at TE and one of our stud RBs will be a nightmare for DCs)

6--Lee

Sleeper--Barry, his attitude and his work ethic might make him the best LB in this class. A position of need, I expect to see him against BYU and have a great 4 years at Nebraska.
