* Jamal Turner. The senior, who received a medical hardship year after tearing his Achilles, is "limited" heading into spring. Prior to spring break, it'll likely be more individual drills for the wide receiver, Riley said. "Then after spring break maybe he can get more involved."

* Michael Rose-Ivey. Riley said the junior linebacker "is going to be limited for two weeks, and then we'll see if we can go more with him."

* Davis Santos. Riley said the linebacker will be out with spring with a knee injury.

* A.J. Natter. Riley labeled the sophomore defensive end as "questionable" for spring after a recent knee surgery. "Scoped though. So he probably won't do much this spring, but possibly after spring break ... Some of these guys might be limited at the start, but after spring break, he might be more involved.

* LeRoy Alexander. After a suspension, the junior safety will be practicing in the spring. "It's kind of up to him right now. He's got to make those good choices and take advantage of it. I'm looking forward to seeing him succeed."

OUT

Linebacker David Santos: He missed the Holiday Bowl, then had surgery directly after that game on his knee. Santos had a strong September marred by knee troubles as the season wore on.

* * *

DOUBTFUL

Right tackle Zach Sterup: Also missed the Holiday Bowl. NU is well-stocked at tackle, though, with Givens Price and Matt Finnin there.

* * *

QUESTIONABLE

Center Ryne Reeves: Missed the Holiday Bowl after getting hurt in the Iowa game. Reeves has had a injury-riddled career — knees, shoulders, ankles, even a neck injury — and will be needed as a fifth-year senior.

* * *

LIMITED

Wide receiver Jamal Turner: After battling a variety of injuries in his first three seasons, Turner suffered his worst one in the second game of the 2014 season: A torn Achilles. Turner is close to returning, Riley said.

Linebacker Michael Rose-Ivey: Tore his ACL prior to the 2014 season and is finishing recovery from it. Rose-Ivey is slated to be an outside linebacker in defensive coordinator Mark Banker's system. Right now, Josh Banderas is the middle linebacker.

Wide receiver Sam Burtch: Missed several games with a concussion, then missed the rest of the season with a ACL tear.

Guard Corey Whitaker: Tore his ACL prior to the 2014 season; if he can fully recover, he can join the free-for-all guard competition, as NU must replace two fifth-year senior starters.

Defensive end A.J. Natter: Has yet to play significant snaps at Nebraska, and is considered an intriguing prospect by Banker, the defensive coordinator.

Defensive tackle Noah Arneson: A walk-on redshirt freshman lineman from Omaha Gross.

How is Adam Taylor doing after coming back from the broken ankle? After watching him play after coming back from a torn ACL

at Katy HS (small town 35 mi. west of Houston) I would assume he will do the same with the Huskers and be bigger, stronger, faster,

more focused and determined to be better than before.

For those of you that have not seen this before ... this is the highlight video of the 2012 Texas 5A division II State Championship

game a year after Adam tore his ACL. I call this "The Adam Taylor v Cedar Hill Video" This is big time Texas HS Football in the highest

classification. Take note of how Adam handles things ... no jive, no smack talk, no chest pumping ... just business. And yes ...

35 carries/ 275yds. /5 TDs

Haven't posted for a while, but will be checking in from time to time ... GO BIG RED!!! :)

We do not really have any new updates, but we are craving to see what Adam can do finally. It's been tough for HuskerNation to not see him for 2 years, can't imagine how hard it's been for him. However, Mike Riley's offense seems to be tailored around a back with Adam's skill set.

He looks good in the red and white - Just needed a N on the helmet and he looked like one of our former power I-back runners.

TGHusker ... Many of us here at Katy have noticed the similarities as Katy runs out of the "I formation" most of the time and we are known for our ground game. Katy has had the same offense for decades ... student body left, student body right and right up main street. Few teams here in Texas have bveen able to stop the Katy Tiger ground game. The unis along with the offense reminds me of some of the Husker teams of the past ... especially when Mike Rozier was running the ball.. Looking forward to see Adam this year. Knowing how he responds to adversity, I'm sure he will be ready when it's time to tee-it up.

wow, we are a freaking mash unit already?? these guys will miss reps in the new system and that hurts..........slow start, temper expectations a bit.

Turner hasn't been healthy since he walked on campus, doubt he even plays this season.

A lot of the guys listed are just not back to full strength after the injuries suffered last year. Some of them take 9 months or more to come back from. Overall, given this is spring ball, it looks pretty normal. I would be more concerned if this was fall camp.

How nice it would have been to Get Rodney up in Huskerville along with AT. That would have been a killer 1-2 punch. AGAIN. lol
