B.B. Hemingway
Man, you have to let your 18 year old make these kind of choices in the end. Guide them, help them educated themselves on the options, but then step back and support their decision..... Unless he doesn't want to go to Nebraska, then it might be time to knock some damn sense into him Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Mike Mataya is now saying Darnay's dad is pushing Nebraska. I don't know what to believe anymore. Who is this Mataya guy? Assumed he was a recruiting analyst, but couldn't find him on the Tweeter. Quote Link to comment

huskerguy
Schaefer is going to be on 1620 around 5:30 to breakdown the latest news with Darnay. I think Keyshawn Sr has been in the ear of dad and Darnay. I would guess the sales pitch is go to Nebraska where you know you will get playing time and get treated fairly by Riley. Huskerzoo
Anyone know if this has any new info? I imagine it does. As someone else mentioned Schaefer is going to be on 1620 in about 15 minutes where he'll review some of it. I'm listening and if no one else has I'll summarize. Quote Link to comment
Melby
What i heard, Mom wants USC, to be close to home GF want UCLA for obvious reasons Dad wants OSU for "best chance of going pro" Friends want him to go to NU Darnay doesnt know where he wants to go. I think Darnay had started to write Nu off before we hired Williams. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Depending on who you talk to, you get any number of different answers. That's pretty much the update. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Guys, I'm telling you for the final time. One last time, for all the marbles. Have faith in my first verbal prediction for this young man. Just believe in the iceman. One time! Quote Link to comment

NM11046
And I guess he's 100% once he commits - since he is an early enrollee? I'd hate him to have the chance to think about it afterward and change his mind. Quote Link to comment

Atbone95
FWIW... In Gebbia's interview, he said he is rooming with Keyshawn and Avery Roberts. It's a 4 man room. UNL & football team won't let one of them live by themselves.... Quote Link to comment

It seems like we're the common denominator. 1 Quote Link to comment
