I wanna get a skybox or equivalent for my group...anyone have an inroads there? Canesfan? Ideas or thoughts?

real fans sit outside you know....

If it's not a night game, you'll be wanting club seats or a box. It's going to be 90º and humid as hell.

I live in Florida, and have done the September games at USF (Tampa),Tallahassee, and Miami. It's awful. When we went to the Wake forest game in 2007, it was maybe 84-85º and in the Husker section everyone was complaining how hot it was and quite a few people had to get medical attention. For my wife and I, it felt great because it was probably 10º cooler and half the humidity.

I was at that Wake game. It was hot, humid, and no breeze. And the stadium ran out of water bottles IIRC.

I thought that it was fairly similar to a few scorchers that I have been to in late August/early September in Lincoln. The warmest I recall is the 98 La Tech game (aka The Troy Edwards Game).

Yeah, they did by halftime IIRC. Coming up from Tampa though, it felt like spring. Nice town with some good BBQ.

Youre thinking of Akron 1997. Worst ever. That was the day that they were constantly hauling ppl out on stretchers. Fans passing them over their heads cuz the first aid folks literally couldnt get around fast enough.

Southern Miss 2012 was quite warm as well. Wyoming 2013 was hot till the sun went down some. But to me, it just seems that nothing tops the memory of Akron 97. And I'm a guy that likes the heat.

No. I am thinking La Tech in 98. Temperature: 90 Wind: Calm Weather: Sunny, 52% humidity

I remember it because when the game ended, the shade was 1 row in front of me.

I was at the Akron 97 game as well, but I don't remember it. It was comparable though. More humid, but a breeze. Temperature: 89 Wind: SE 8 MPH Weather: Fair, 69% Humidity

I was at that Akron game. It was significantly warmer than 90. I was not at the LaTech game. But those numbers on them links arent correct for whatever variable. Being in a stadium crowded by ppl in the glaring sun or what. But I guarantee you it was much hotter than 90. Of all the games I've been to that's the one that stands out as the hottest I've ever experienced. That's over thte recent cookers of SoMiss 2012 and Wyoming 2013 that I frankly didnt think was that big of deal. I'll take your word on the LaTech game.
