Ron Brown to Liberty (FCS)

A source! A source! My kingdom for a source!

I figured the OP knew what he was talking about. Of all the fake rumors someone would make up, this wouldn't immediately come to someone's mind.

Liberty (FCS): Per source, pending final clearance, Youngstown State running backs coach / assistant head coach Ron Brown will be joining the staff and coaching the receivers.

A timeline of Ron Brown's last several months:

11/30/14 - Bo Pelini, his boss, is fired

12/4/14 - Mike Riley hired as the new head coach at Nebraska

12/2014 - Prep for Holiday Bowl

12/27/14 - Holiday Bowl, says goodbye to Ameer Abdullah & the team

1/8/15 - Mike Riley speaks about the difficulty in not retaining certain staff, including Brown

1/21/15 - Ron Brown announced as Running Backs coach under Bo Pelini at Youngstown State

3/19/15 - Spring Football at Youngstown State begins

4/17/15 - Spring Football ends with the YSU Red/White Game (White won, 31-7)

4/21/15 - Ron Brown announced as candidate for Liberty (FCS) WR Coach

My best guess right now is Bo knew Brown wasn't a permanent part of his staff, but rented Brown for Spring Ball.

I understand how ludicrous that sounds.
