BTN Tom Dienhart: Nebraska schedule analysis

Recommended Posts

Best chance to pull an upset: at Minnesota, Oct. 17. If the offense is purring under QB Tommy Armstrong—and Minnesota’s attack continues to have issues passing the ball—Nebraska may be able to win in the Twin Cities vs. a rising Minnesota program that has knocked off the Huskers each of the last two seasons.

I don't get Dienhart at all. He really is down on Nebraska and thinks we have a lot of holes to fill. He has been saying as much all spring. Don't we officially return like 8 starters on defense and 6 on offense. He has put a huge emphasis on NU losing AA on offense in things that I have read, but doesn't seem to think of Minnesota losing Cobb or that TE as being a problem. Not saying that Minnesota won't be a tough game at all, but I actually see the Gophers taking a small step backwards this year. Would not be surprised at a 6-6 mark from them.
