I'm excited for this kid, and I hate saying this, but I hope this in-state celebrity status that has begun doesn't interfere with him enjoying his playing career. Lot of coverage and now expectations with the "could he be youngest in-state offer" etc etc, don't want to see backlash if it doesn't go the way the picture is being painting. I'm optimistic about him and his potential and can't wait to see him in memorial weekend on husker game day.

A long way before anyone sees him in Memorial Stadium.

According to today's local paper, he's planning on taking multiple visits based on who offers him in the next few years......(can't blame him)

Yeah I posted that and thought to myself, a little hasty on being a husker, but really, if he's not...ouch.

He probably won't end up that high because a lot of really good freshmen (now sophomores) at bigger schools just haven't gotten to play yet but this is pretty impressive for Cameron and great for the Huskers to have someone like this basically in their back yard.

Just, just commit and get the Class of 2018 off to a great start! chuckleshuffle

From the Rivals write up

"I don't know if I'm like shutting everything down, I'll talk to (coaches), but I'm definitely going to be a Husker," Jurgens said. "It would be just down-right weird not to be a Husker and play for someone else. Besides, I don't think my dad would even allow it. I'm just excited to be a Husker."

Haha that is great.

Good get. Wonder what position he'll end up at. Says TE now, but DE could be a possibility. Hell, even an OT if he is still growing.
