Creighton Duke
Surprised that this hasn't been posted yet: http://www.tomahawknation.com/2015/7/6/8901537/video-shows-florida-state-qb-deandre-johnson-punch-woman-in-bar It looks as though this woman acted far too aggressively, escalating the situation for no reason, but he really did sock the heck out of her. At that point, it's not even "self defense". Even FSU couldn't defend this one! Quote Link to comment

Bigred_inSD
isn't he 19? I don't see any coke products behind that bar? Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Ouch. I'm not sure the woman acted too aggressively. It's hard to tell what's going on, of course -- it looks like he was bumping into her while she was sitting at the bar, and she took exception. Anyway, once the altercation started she seemed to be in a defensive posture. He immediately grabs her wrist and hangs onto it while she the argument continues, and momentarily she takes a swing at him. He returns the favor, much more successfully, and leaves. Husker NoNo
After reading up on the Cook situation there is something VERY dirty happening in Tallahassee. Why are there so many underage students in these bars? None of the football players reported in the Cook case were older than true sophomores (20 years old if you are being generous), and one of the women present was only 19. She was reportedly very intoxicated, and this report comes from the bouncer who is an OFF-DUTY POLICE OFFICER?!?!? The police are in the bars, but not checking IDs? The police are in the bars are witnessing verbal altercations, but supposedly leaving before punches are thrown? I found the Penn State situation repulsive, but the NCAA's consistent "looking the other direction" and "boys will be boys" mentality regarding borderline habitual sexual assault and abuse is disgusting. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/florida-state-seminoles/chopping-block/os-fsu-dalvin-cook-not-guilty-misdemeanor-battery-20150824-story.html 2 Quote Link to comment
