Mavric
On March 17, Nebraska will face Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade at Queen's Beach. The Huskers will compete in the Hawaii Invite with Loyola Marymount, USC and Hawaii on March 18 and March 19 at Queen's Beach before facing Hawaii on March 20 at Hawaii's Ching Complex. Once in California, Nebraska will play Irvine Valley College and Concordia (Calif.) in Huntington Beach on March 23. The Huskers head to Long Beach to play Long Beach State on March 24, then close the season on March 25 in Malibu against Pepperdine and Cal Poly. The first ever National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship will be held May 6-8, 2016 at the Gulf Shores Public Beach in Gulf Shores, Ala. Nebraska will complete its season in March and will not be part of the NCAA Championship eight-team tournament this season while continuing to evaluate how it wants to proceed as a program. Mavric
Dang. If my sister-in-law was getting married a week later, I would be in Hawai'i at that time. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan13
So when are they gonna decided "how to proceed" with the program? Don't get the point of adding a sport if you're not gonna compete in postseason Quote Link to comment

Any contact between coaches and players can only benefit the program. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
At some point they're going to decide if we're going to keep the court team playing sand, or spin the sand program off into its own team and recruit specifically for sand. There are half a zillion problems with having a sand-only team, though. 1 Quote Link to comment
huskerfan13
I really don't understand how thats a difficult decision though. Keep the court teaming playing sand also. But give them the opportunity to compete for championships. Only benefits them. Quote Link to comment
