knapplc
I always liked Hovey, and wanted to see him get the ball in space a little more. Deceptively quick guy. 5 Quote Link to comment
Brouhaha
That's a bummer. I guess that might mean that some freshmen are really emerging. Quote Link to comment
cm husker
Quality good. Good football player. Great "program guy." Sorry to see him go. Did he graduate this year? Quote Link to comment

It wasn't attached when he read the OP. Imgur was down so it took a minute to upload it. That's on me. Quote Link to comment

Bigred_inSD
Scholarship limit consequences? Are you eagerly awaiting more letters from angry girlfriends about Riley ruining dreams? Quote Link to comment

NUinID
Scholarship limit consequences? That is a real classy letter, and I doubt they are trying to show him the door. He definitely contributed on this team and would have done so this year also. He may have just been ready to move on to something new. Montana is a quality 1AA program that makes the playoffs every year. Quote Link to comment
NUance
He was a guy who should have gotten a scholarship to some FBS program out of high school. But I don't think he had any offers, IIRC. He was totally under the radar, given this size and speed. Was an awesome get for our invited walk-on program. Sure wish he would have stayed. I wish him the best of luck. 1 Quote Link to comment
darkhorse85
Damn. Didn't see this one coming. Good luck, Lane. Thanks for all your effort here. 1 Quote Link to comment
junior4949
Has anyone considered that he might very well be transferring to Montana because they have a better graduate program in his field of study? At this juncture in his collegiate career, a better grad. school should be a much higher priority than what team he plays for. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Really, i think this is a good move for him. He could put up some really good stats there and possibly get a better look from the league. Quote Link to comment
girlknowsfootball
I forget, was Hovey put on scholarship or not? Quote Link to comment
