Mike Mcdee
No disrespect to the kid, but WHAT!? He's a freshman in high school and already had that many D1 offers? That's pretty amazing... and kind of absurd at the same time. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Wow, he is larger than Barry is.... Mind you, that picture is probably when he was in 8th grade and Barry was a senior... Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
BTW, he is extremely interested in visiting Nebraska. Mo Barry wouldn't tell him anything about it, because he wants him to see it for himself. Man, I'm really nervous about this kid, going to be a long 4 years!!! Quote Link to comment

I'm not too worked up about a 2019 recruit yet. Great kid to watch and see how he develops. WHY NOT!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Why would I be? He is a Freshman in HS. A TON can happen between now and then. He could top out and not have the HS career everyone thinks he will. He could (hope not) have a career changing injury. He could completely get a bad attitude his Junior year and flame out. Barry could for some reason not be on the team by then and he lose interest in Nebraska. We could have a coaching change 4 years from now and that change everything. We could find a better player we like more. It will be interesting seeing where he ends up 4 years from now. But....no.....I'm not going to be too worked up at this point in time. Quote Link to comment

Not a knock on the kid, but we've heard this before....their interested in visiting right after their offer then nothing happens. Quote Link to comment
