Allow me one commit of these three ... Darnay, Gebbia, and KJJ ... which are you taking and why?

I thought this would/could lead to some interesting discussion.

I'm taking Darney on the basis of need and game changer status. Gebbie should be a great QB recruit and KJJ will do well and perhaps be a key recruit to put together this class along with other classes ... but this is where I thought it might be an interesting discussion for the board on who they would take if they only got one choice and the "why".

What's your take?

If I had to choose, I would take a "wait and see" approach for now. A lot depending on who I would choose would depend on what kind of other talent we're in on within their respective positions. I would lean towards Gebbia, because you could use as many 4 star QB's as you can get in a program. However, if we were in on some other stud QB's then I'd probably lean towards Holmes. A year after landing Jackson, the corner spot should would look to be in good hands for a few years with those guys.

So it's a "wait and see" for me, in this hypothetical recruiting world!

Pretty tough to choose but I'd probably have to give the edge to Holmes. He is the highest-rated and our defense might actually work with elite corners.

If I didn't think as highly of POB as I do, I would have gone with Gebbia as I think we're in dire need of a QB but I think we're in better shape now.

None of that is a knock against KJJ. I just think we have more pressing needs than WR.

KJJ because he will be a great player, we will be low on receivers after 2016 so getting him would be the key. POB to KJJ could be a really good qb to wr connection. With KJJ and a few tall receivers we will have an elite wr core with demornay, KJJ, alston morgan and others. Also Keyshawn will be able to peer recruit extremely well, so we get more studs form Cali and other places.
