NFL Free Agency 2016

First day is March 9, I believe.

My Broncos have some interesting decisions to make. Obviously starts with Manning. I hope he retires for a number of reasons. Can't stay healthy. Diminishing skills. Go out on top. And it would give them a lot more room in free agency.

Miller, Osweiler and Malik Jackson all need re-signed. Hopefully they can get that worked out.

Manning needs to retire, he just doesn't physically have it anymore, and it's too bad, but go out on top. If not, I don't think there is any way that he plays for Denver next year. Way too much money for diminishing returns. I believe they are going to franchise Miller and work on a long-term deal; dude is going to get paid big time. Unfortunately, I think Jackson and Trevathan will both be gone, which is too bad. Ware may be asked to restructure his deal or be released outright. Then, it's all in on Brock to get him signed, because Trevor Simien is not the answer.

Going to be a very interesting off-season for the Broncos, that's for sure.

Wow, four years for $72M. Dude got paid. That's over $10M per start in his NFL career!

I was hoping that he would stay in Denver, but I never really thought that he would. I have to give John Elway credit though; he's always made it very clear that he is willing to pay up to a certain amount but will not overspend. I think Brock has potential to be great, but he also has potential to be a bust in Houston. I hope it doesn't work out that way for him, but I have concerns about how well he'll do there.

Guess it's time to see what (shudder) RG3 or Kaepernick can do in Denver.

Can't believe what the Texans thought Osweiler was worth. If it doesn't work out that seems like the kind of move that could bury a franchise for a good long while.

No kidding. Based on a limited resume, working alongside (arguably) one of the greatest defenses in NFL history.

They're paying him like he's an elite top-tier QB and he has done very little to warrant that.

The Broncos are getting picked clean in free agency. Tough year to be in the market for a QB with the weak draft class and low quality of the FAs available.
