Have a question about NCAA rules.

I'm not sure where this kid lives compared to Christian Peter. But, is it against the rules if someone like Christian shows up at his games in a Husker jacket and introduces himself?

No idea if Christian even has any desire to help but I'm sure Parrella and Christian know each other pretty well.

Chances are the kid has no clue who Christian is. But, a quick google search would reveal how good he was.

A quick Google search just brings up his run ins with the law and domestic abuse.

Yeah.....I thought about that after I typed that. ;)

My main question was how much can ex players be around recruits if they live in the same area? Take Christian out of the equation if need be.

I don't see a problem with it guys. Example would be Keyshawn Sr.

But, Keyshawn is not a graduate of Nebraska and he is taking his own son through the recruiting process.

So....if let's say there is a really good recruit in the Miami area, if Suh would just happen to show up to his game in Husker gear and possibly meet the kid.....hmmmm.....

This would be I am very certain a major No-No! Even everyday fans cannot be actively recruiting or communicating with prospective recruits. I believe the Athletic Department has a brochure and or other explanatory materials available that will advise the fans (think ''booster" whether you donate money or not you are a booster if your are human basically).
