suh_fan93
LOVIE SMITH ADDRESSES ESPN REPORT OF HIS BEING 'MISERABLE' AS ILLINI HEAD COACH "Am I happy right now with where we are? No, no one on our football team is happy with where we are right now," Smith said. "My time in Champaign, it's a little bit bigger than where we are right now. I would not get into speculation at all," Smith said when directly asked about the whole "one-and-done" phrasing. "You're hearing it from me. I would go on what you're getting from me right now." teachercd
Some chatter that he might bounce to the NFL as a DC. He knew the job was a mess when he got there but he might not have known just how big of a mess it was going to be. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
This would be an utter disaster for Illinois. But it really wouldnt surprise me. He's a seasoned NFL coach, so an overreacting action that shows a lack of patience to build wouldnt surprise me either. Even though he was at the same NFL gig for a long time. Quote Link to comment
Frostberg
I know Miles is/was a college coach and Lovie was NFL but this to me is the reason why I don't see Miles taking the Purdue job. Im sure Miles would have more patience but still would have a ton of work to do. Quote Link to comment
