whateveritis1224
Here we go with Wisconsin having no fouls called against them with NU getting ticky tack calls. Wisconsin does play cleaner, but it feels like the same stuff that gets called on NU doesn't get called on UW. Quote Link to comment

It's funny, the guys on ESPN were talking about the same thing during the penn state, Ohio state game. Not sure if it's the same refs, or not. Quote Link to comment

They wouldn't have the same refs do two games in one day, let alone 2 in a row. But there have been some questionable calls against Nebraska tonight. Quote Link to comment

One play that exemplifies this was Shavon drove, lot of contact as he's going up, no fould called. Guess the difference is that they at least appear to be vertical. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
JACK MCVEIGH IS f'ing AWFUL. That's all I have to say. Agreed, my daughter has learned a few new words because of this issue tonight. However, I will say he has played solid-ish defense. Offensively he is way out of rhythm. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Here's the thing. I could only argue 1 foul against us. However, I could argue all day long about 5-6 of the no calls on Wisconsin. Hell, the 2 fouls called on Wisconsin were so blatantly f'ing obvious. A terrible charge where he backed over McVeigh and an extremely obvious foul on a 3 pointer by Shields where defender jumped 1 second early. Â I expect better in 2nd half or Timmy will have choice words to say after the game. At least I hope he can keep it under control as long as the game is close. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
The refs called a loose ball foul 50 feet from Wisconsin's basket when the shot clock was under 10 seconds. That was ridiculous. Koenig got caught in a double team and was bailed out by the ref. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Having said all this, Id f'ing love another shot at Maryland tomorrow night. Let's go f'ing get this win. Keep up the defensive intensity and start hitting a few more shots and getting to the rim more frequently. Â GBR!!!! Quote Link to comment
