Nebraska wrestled about as good as they possibly could have today. Tomorrow morning will be another great day. Hopefully they can keep up the momentum!!! 6 in the quarterfinals and 4 in the wrestle backs Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Good finish for Nebraska Wrestling this weekend. They finished 8th overall. Congrats to Dudley, National Champ Runner-up (and the only medal finalist for Nebraska). Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
There are 5 B1G programs in the Top 10. Nebraska had a solid duals and tournament team this year, which does not always happen, so you have to recognize and give props to the wrestlers and coaches. Still Nebraska will need to recruit better (not to say the current athletes are slouches) to take the next step in this amazing wrestling conference. Teams like Penn St, Ohio St, and Iowa are a caliber above everyone. Quote Link to comment

We finished behind Penn St.(#1 Class) and Rutgers(#3 Class) at 5th and right in front of Iowa at 6th. The class is headlined by Chad Red from Indiana. The kid is an absolute animal on the mat and has a wrestling style like Jordan Burroughs. Very excited about him. Quote Link to comment

Scratchtown
It's time for Lambert and Jensen to turn the corner. I expect big things from Montoya, Berger, Barnes, Dudley, and Studebaker. If Lambert and Jensen have good years and the new guys have solid years. We could be in the mix for a top 3 at NCAA's next year. Quote Link to comment
SODAKSKERSFAN20
I think Kris Williams actually beats out Lambert. Montoya and Dudley returning AA. Barnes struggles offensively but he will be ok. Studebaker will have a hard time keeping White out of the starting lineup. Also I see someone beating out Jensen. I predict Red to AA as a true freshman. Quote Link to comment
