ColoradoHusk
http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Daily/Closing-Bell/2016/04/19/Big-Ten.aspx If this means less 11 AM Central games, then I would be all for this. 2 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
6 years and $250M/year to carry half the B1G's available media rights package (~25 football and 50 basketball games). About $18M/school annually. Starting in 2018. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Uh.........not sure about this. I remember having games on Fox channels when we were in the Little 12. They were pretty bad productions. Quote Link to comment

cm husker
Insane money pouring into the coffers of schools. More than ever, we need to be paying players for their hand in the production of this value. As to fox, because I don't have cable, I would have hoped for a network with an online/app presence. Maybe they'll catch up in that department. 1 Quote Link to comment

I don't think Buck would be doing many, if any, college games since he'll be doing MLB until the World Series is over and NFL until January Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
Uh.........not sure about this. I remember having games on Fox channels when we were in the Little 12. They were pretty bad productions. This isn't including FS Midwest type broadcasts where Nebraska and Iowa St would be on. Fox and FS1 are pretty decent quality, just as good as any of the drooling rubes on the 4 letter network. 1 Quote Link to comment

I do really like Joel Klatt though. He is a sharp dude. 1 Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Make no mistake that however this all shakes out, the B1G, and Nebraska, will be getting a lot of cash, and it will not be marginally more or less difficult to see our games. Quote Link to comment
Redux
If it results in 1 less 11am game and me not having to fight sleep listening to Beth Mowin, count me in. 4 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Bowfin
Based on the new Big Ten TV deal info, the B1G and SEC are playing chess and the rest of the Power 5 is playing checkers. So if the Longhorn Network is just Texas, does that mean that they are playing with themselves?... 10 Quote Link to comment

Maybe they'll catch up in that department. They currently televise Big 12 and Pac 12 games on network Fox, not just FS1, weekly. I assume that will be the case with the B1G too. And the Fox Sports Go app works great for streaming Fox Sports telecasts. 1 Quote Link to comment
