Nice.

Do they always set up the times to this many games so far in advance? And when can we expect a time slot for the Oregon game?

Really liking These late starts for a couple home games. should help us be able to get recruits to Lincoln on Satudays

The Oregon game will likely be decided the week before.

The Big 10 always announces their night games in advance, ESPN/ABC night games were announced a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing the Oregon game will be a reverse mirror 2:30 telecast.

Incorrect, we'll know Oregon sometime soon. Non-conference games are almost always set very early. Its the conference games that are subject to the 1 or 2 week window.

For past reference, here when our prior marquee non-conference game times were set:

2015 Miami - 5/15

2014 Maimi - 4/15

2013 UCLA - 6/7

2012 UCLA - 6/14

What determines when/as part of what tier or whatever those games get decided?

It'll be Tier 1 (ABC/ESPN)because it's a marquee OOC game. They'll decide when they get all their games ready and do it at once.

I don't know what determines it. But the past few years the non-conference schedule kick times have always been known by end of June.

Last year:

BYU - 6/12

South Alabama - 4/13

Miami - 5/15

So Miss - 5/14

Anyways, I love that the B1G has finally dropped their "no night games in November" policy. Good to see them move into the 1990s.

You can't expect things to move too fast in this conference. It took until 2008 for them to drop the rule of no games on Thanksgiving weekend.

I love night games. I can't get home to Lincoln often, and watching on TV is more fun at night, at least for me. Plenty of time to get the smoked ribs or brisket done, watch some early games, etc.

We could end up with quite a string of night games this year. Our two road games are Wisconsin and OSU, leading up to Minnesota. I suppose there's a chance they all end up at night. After that Maryland and then Iowa (Black Friday).

Has the Black Friday game ever been played at night? I'm too old to remember.
