Kalu Named to Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List

Nebraska cornerback Joshua Kalu was named to the Lott Impact Trophy watch list. Kalu was one of 42 defensive players named to the preseason list, which looks for high character defensive players both on and off the field.

As a sophomore Kalu had a terrific season for the Huskers with 75 tackles and three interceptions. He earned an honorable All-Big Ten mention. Kalu also shined off the field as he was named to Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and was honored by the athletic department for his community outreach, which involved working with Make A Wish, NFL Play 60 and various local hospital and rec center events.
