Thought this could be interesting and nostaligic. What games have you been to? I'll start:

'04 Colorado: My first game ever. We recover an onside kick on opening kickoff....then promptly punt the ball away. Left at halftime because the guy my ex gf was sleeping with was there. Great start to my live game experience.

'08 Mizzou, we lost bad to a good team

'09 ArkSt, we beat up a bad team

'10 WKU, we beat up a bad team

'10 Texas, we were #5 & lost to an awful team

'11 NW, we were ranked high and lost to a backup QB

'12 SMISS, we beat up a bad team

'12 Michigan, FINALLY got to see a conference win in person

'13 SMISS, beat up a bad team

'13 MSU, gave ball away routinely to a good team

'13 Iowa, ugly loss when we were beat up

'14 Minnysoda, sloppy play gave them lead & win

'15 USA, beat up a bad team

'15 Iowa, couldn't overcome own mistakes

'16 Oregon, both teams were paper tigers but this was the greatest game I have been at.

'18 Illinois, got a much needed W after keeping it close VS tOSU on road

So I am 8-8 all time (2-8 in conference play), who wants to take me to a game? Share your list.

Too many games to count for me been going since 1976.

My first game was against TCU and they won something like 60-3.

Saw Phil Bradley, Kellen Winslow, and James Wilder beat NU in 1978.

Saw Turner Gill Come off the bench in 1981 and lead NU to victory over Auburn in a drizzling rain.

Saw Marcus Dupree run for a big chunk of yards in 1982 but lose the game.

Watched Mike Rozier run 75 yards to score a 3 yard TD against UCLA in 1983

Watched Ken Clark duel Barry Sanders to a draw in 1988 I believe

Watched Brook Barringer beat Wyoming with a collapsed lung in 1994

Saw Eric Crouch throw catch and run for a TD against Cal in 1999

Saw Black Flash 41 in 2001

Saw The stadium empty in 2003 against KSU

Watched NU lose to S. Miss in 2004

Watched NU get its ass kicked by USC in 2007

Left the stadium at halftime of the Okie St. game in 2007 and didn't come back. The only time I have ever left a game with more than a minute on the clock.

Watched Alex Henery kick a 57 yarder against CU in 2009

could go on, got to get back to work.

'06 Nicholls State W

'09 Kansas State W

'12 Southern Miss W

'12 Arkansas State W

'12 Idaho State W

'12 Wisconsin W (Montee Ball fumble game)

'12 Michigan W (Denard Robinson got injured, right when it seemed the game was slipping away from Nebraska. Enter Russell Bellomy)

'12 Penn State W

'12 Minnesota W

'13 Wyoming W

'13 Southern Miss W (for some reason Corey Cooper started rubbing my shoulders before the game while I was on the sidelines. He got his first career interception that game)

'13 UCLA L

'13 Illinois W

'13 Northwestern W (Westerkatch game, I had a mustache at the time)

'13 Michigan State L

'13 Iowa L

'14 Florida Atlantic W

'14 Miami W

'14 Illinois W (Kenny Bell has 69 yard touchdown on the play after crushing me on the sideline)

'14 Rutgers W

'14 Purdue W

'14 Minnesota L

'14 Iowa W (overtime win after furious comeback)

'15 Iowa L (spent most of the game in the press box, so my luck wasn't able to transfer to the field lol)

In 2013, I went to games with a girl who had only been to Husker losses, and started attending UNL in 2007. I figured those losses are chalked up to her bad juju. I didn't go with her to the Northwestern game, so that backs up my theory. The two losses since then have been residual effects of that juju.

21-5. (21-2 without the juju woman)

Have to dip into the memory banks for this one...

92 Utah 49-22 Win - First game, never forget how green the field was as we made our way up the ramp for the game

92 Okie State 55-0 Win - Still remember my dad hurrying home early and hauling ass to the game so we didn't miss KO

93 North Texas (then North Texas State) 76-14 Win

93 K-State 45-28 Win

97 Akron 59-14 Win - it was HOT, most vivid memory was Akron lineman puking pre-play and a couple plays played in said puke before clean up

07 Ball State 41-40 Win - Ball State FG falls short as time expires I celebrate with my then gf and fam. like we just won a championship

11 Michigan 24-3 Win - Really thought my win streak of games seen in person was ending before this one.

13 S.Miss 56-13 Win - So hot the band didn't wear their uniforms.

8-0

Funny this came up as a topic as I just realized yesterday that I haven't been to a game since 2003 and it made me feel old.

I've been to probably 15-20 games, and all of them were in the Solich years, I believe.

And I didn't realize until your post I'd had the fortune to see four different Husker coaches in just 8 games.

Edit: Wait,....nvm, never saw Solich.

I came up with this list for myself a few years ago. It's around 50 total games. I grew up going to around a game a season in the 1980's and early 90's, and got to go to some really cool games. I attended all but one NU home game from 1994-1997, when I as a student. After graduating, I went to most of the games in 1998 before moving away from Nebraska.

I haven't lived in the state since the summer of 1999, and have gotten back for a few games in Lincoln, along with a few trips for road games.

I went to one nonconference game 25 or so years ago. I can't remember the team, but they wore green uniforms and one of their guys threw up on the field (it was pretty hot out).

I can't justify the time and expense to attending a game when you get a better watch on television. It just doesn't do it for me.
