The announcers said Mike Riley already knew the Illinois defense was scheming the Armstrong keeper, maybe assigning a full-time spy. Quote Link to comment

The announcers said Mike Riley already knew the Illinois defense was scheming the Armstrong keeper, maybe assigning a full-time spy. they still weren't able to stop the qb draw out of that 4 wide RB flat motion. That package seems unstoppable right now with the flat threat, qb draw, and the wr screen to the other side It would be even more fun to withhold the QB draw for two or three quarters. Then unleash it. That's what I thought was going to happen against Illinois. With Newby in rhythm it wasn't necessary I guess. Quote Link to comment
