He had a stroke, not so much old age.

 

That said - he should just do the last 30 -20 minutes of the show.

Didn't know that, but suspected it, he has been slower, a stroke just sucks the life and youth out of a person. That guy was always so sharp and on the inside he likely still is, but all those fried connections just cant get your point across the way you were able to before. That guy would have been 90 and still been able to speak like a revved up engine. Shame, really a shame. All the best to him.

Just saw espn replay Corso thanking them for not being fired after having a stroke. Grabbed me by the gut a bit. Don't like espn but thats a class move.

Definitely a teary-eye moment when corso thanked Kirk for all he's done and thanked espn for the support after the stroke. You can tell it's tough for everyone, as they usually have to finish his sentences for him. As someone mentioned above, he's made the show what it is and will be sad when he leaves.
