^ Finally, a stat where we don't look like dog sh#t.

That's what broke us last year (see the BYU game) and where we're making hay this year.

and honestly 3rd down is more important than some of these other stats. I also like Riley's big 3 stats that win games in his opinion. We have been good in the big plays, turnovers and I can't remember the last one but these categories are usually indicative of wins or losses

4th Down Offense:

 

Nebraska - 6/9 - 67%

West Virginia - 4/6 - 67%

Baylor - 11/17 - 65%

Michigan - 7/11 - 64%

Washington - 3/5 - 60%

Alabama - 5/9 - 56%

Clemson - 6/11 - 55%

 

 

4th Down Defense:

 

Alabama - 4/12 - 33%

Nebraska - 6/17 - 35%

West Virginia - 3/8 - 38%

Michigan - 5/13 - 38%

Clemson - 6/13 - 46%

Washington - 13/24 - 54%

Baylor - 5/8 - 63%

Points?

penalties, turnovers and explosive plays. The penalties haven't been great but we have typically been good in the other two categories and I think we will continue to win if we continue to beat teams at these 3 things
