"African-American athletes knelt during the national anthem at professional football games to peacefully protest racial injustice & inequality in America. The president attacked them on Twitter & called for their firing for not being sufficiently patriotic. The Vice President left a game in protest of their protest." I remember when people booed when Pence walked in to watch the play "Hamilton" shortly after the election and Pence could be overheard telling his daughter that "that's what freedom sounds like." Well, Mr. Vice President, I may not like it, and you may not like it, but players quietly protesting during the national anthem is what freedom looks like. 4 Link to comment

TL;DR: It's not good. Net negative approval in 25 states + DC. Net positive approval rating in 12 states. Most popular in WY, WV, AL & LA. Barely above even in FL at +1. Creeping into negative single digits in several swing states, including rust belt (NC -1, OH -3, PN -6, AZ-7, NV -8). Double digits negative in other swing states (IA/VA -11, WI -12, CO -13, MI -15, NH -19). 1 Link to comment
