I found that quote hilarious. If ever there was a President who could withstand an affair with a porn star and paying her off to keep quiet, it’s Trump. His supporters simply don’t care. Even if it all comes out, I have a tough time seeing too many caring.

I kinda agree - and it makes me sick.

So from your perspective Ric, why all the increased efforts to keep the 60 minutes interview off the air by Trump's people?  Do you think (as many do) that there is something she could share that his supporters WOULD care about?  Abortion?  Kinky stuff?  Why is Stormy being handled so differently from the others (9?) who he simply said "they're lying"?  His radio silence on her is actually deafening.

The court documents where she's suing to get the NDA nullified says she has texts and images, so maybe that's the difference?

And, that's fine if that's how his supporters (Republicans) want to play the game.

However, then they lose absolutely all moral integrity they every acted like they had when claiming outrage over Clinton having affairs or other politicians who are accused/proven to have affairs or sexually harass or assault women.

They are basically saying that none of that matters in the future when they act outraged because of some Democrat who does any of these things.  As long as they understand that.....

Lose your soul to own the libs, it's all the rage.

@Moiraine, yeah...I've followed this story only loosely so I don't know many of the details, but my first question here is what made the pursuit of her silence worth $130k. I mean, the guy is almost completely shameless, and it's a fact in which he revels.

This kind of thing may have worked in the business world where you could be a vindictive bastard and nobody could do anything to you because you had enough money to insulate yourself, but you're talking about messing with the FBI.  These people are not afraid of someone like Trump. In fact, they specialize on finding out where people like Trump bury the bodies.

Haha, the Law and Order President! Maybe this will help a few more Trump-supporters to see passed the lies.

A hearing date has been set for the lawsuit adult film actress Stormy Daniels filed against President Donald Trump and his lawyer Michael Cohen's company to dissolve their non-disclosure agreement.

The hearing has been set for July 12 at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The hearing is in L.A. so the chances this is gonna be a judge biased for Trump are slim.

I smell wrongful termination lawsuit. If McCabe asked Sessions to justify his firing, you know he wouldn't have adequate grounds to prove cause. And you know people at the FBI are going to be lining up around the corner to back McCabe.

Could you imagine a former acting head of the FBI suing the U.S. Attorney General? The whole thing is pretty bizarre and Orwellian. But this is where we're at.

Sessions would have to be a seriously slimy sleazeball to actually go through with this. It's just cruel to threaten a person's pension for decades of public service like this. I wonder if he's just posturing to kiss his boss's butt.
