NUance
Predicting a season: One man's guess at Nebraska basketball's record Chris Basnett, Lincoln Journal Star 15 hrs ago I’ve had several people ask me how many games the Nebraska basketball team will win this season. I think most folks have reasonable expectations, especially with the number of young players on the roster. Still, I’m probably more optimistic than most. If Nebraska can protect home court to the tune of 12 wins or so, it gives them some wiggle room when they leave Lincoln to scratch out enough victories to finish above .500. I took my very unscientific stab at every regular season game on the schedule, with my prediction ... LINK LJS author predicts every game. Has us going 17-13 overall, and 9-9 in conference. I will be pleasantly surprised—no, shocked—if we go 9-9 in conference. B10 is a tough conference to go .500 in. 1 Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
I'm not sure I saw much last night that encouraged me to think NU is in the top 7 of the conference. Baring injuries to key players I think we could reasonably get to .500. The freshmen will have to grow up quickly. Quote Link to comment

seaofred92
Dayton is a winnable but big game. They're a NCAA tournament team. Beat Dayton and keep it close against presumably UCLA and we have something in the works Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Dayton is winnable and will be a very nice win. UCLA might run NU out of the gym Quote Link to comment
