Flight-tracker season

Recommended Posts

When you can't get your information directly from a coach's saltwater aquarium guy, the next most reliable sources are flight trackers.

Here's the first one I've seen this season, tracking coaching moves from Knoxville to Purdue.

Here's a wild guess: Steve Stripling or Willie Martinez. Both of them have the "great recruiter" titles of "Associate Head Coach" and "Assistant Head Coach" for Tennessee. Usually those kind of titles are used to justify paying great recruiters more than what would be typical for the position.

Stripling has quite a resume, including lots of Big Ten footprint jobs:

just a guess.

Trumps heading to Indiana today. Make Purdue great again??

To do that, Trump would need to first "drain the swamp" by replacing all of the current coaching staff with big dollar boosters and virulent Purdue bloggers. Any of the ancillary staff in the Athletic Department would then be made up of either former failed Purdue staffers or ignorant blowhards that have ties (both direct and indirect) to the most vociferous of Indiana Hoosier supporters.

Only then will Trump have the framework in place to make Purdue great again.

Nope, just making an elaboration based on his actions so far. Sorry (not sorry) if you're butthurt that reality doesn't reinforce your preconceived beliefs.

Make husker board great again.

*Huskerboard

* HuskerBoard

this is grammarly incorrect, and there is zero proof that this is the proper name. Besides the point that my point was simply that it was one word and a title, hence the capital "H".

I've been told by the owner that HuskerBoard is the proper way to spell it. So there. nyeah.

it may be the "way" to spell it, but there is absolutely nothing proper about it.

I will only concede that much.

And debates like this make me think it should be changed to Huskerbored

Here's part of the reason it's confusing: The proper use isn't uniform. Here's a snippet from the Board Rules page illustrating that problem:

The properness is irrelevant because it is a name. i could call myself CouNTaBilITY if i wanted. It may not be proper in a grammare sense but it doesnt matter. Cuz that is my name. ADS put it out as "husker board" and i corrected it. i will concede that proper grammar is not the issue here, if you concede that a few listings within the board rules is still not enough to prove it is the correct name until we have hardcore proof.

And even after, I will still not waste time pressing the shift key when spelling Huskerboard. it's not that important to me.

Which leads me to say that i have completely lost track of whats being debated here.

Just as long as you know I'm joking around here as much as you were when you corrected ADS. I don't care what people write. I'm so lazy I write it "HB" half the time.

You were joking?

Gosh. I was just about to hit my "hardcore defense" button.

Totally joking. Or, a better description, bored enough to chat about whether a B is capitalized or not.

That was not a serious discussion, at least, not on my end. More of a chat about something that's odd.
