ScottyIce
No clue about what WA coordinator means. Also ST duties will be divided up. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
Source? Or this just your assumption? Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
No clue about what WA coordinator means. Also ST duties will be divided up. WA coordinator means he oversees the entire defense. He will spend practice time going from station to station giving input and reviewing the players. Pretty much makes him the "head coach" of the defense. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Lol but wasn't that his job as D.C.? Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Williams isn't the passing game coordinator then? If he brings in just a couple of these guys I really don't care what title he has. Just pay the man to stay here Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
Lol but wasn't that his job as D.C.? Yeah I thought that was what a DC does? Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Banker is the DC but he worked with the safties position group this year Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Lol but wasn't that his job as D.C.? Yeah I thought that was what a DC does? Yes, but some DC's cover their own position group during practices and leave the other positions to the other assistants during station work. Charlie McBride coached the D-line while also being D.C. But he designed the overall defense and made the defensive calls on game day. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Gotcha. Technically, the defense was better when Banker worked with a group instead of all groups.(2016 vs 2015) Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Just an extra title to fit a great recruiter in. Quote Link to comment
macroboy
Do you think Stewart is on notice? Quote Link to comment
desertshox
Do you think Stewart is on notice? no, it has been alluded to that he might be moving on to be a DC somewhere in the future. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
I don't think Stewart has any reason to feel that way. His corners made good progress under his tutelage and he had a nice 2016 recruiting class for DB's. Quote Link to comment
