Ya'll should check out this out. One of the guys on the small team that made it is on another site I frequent. It's a space/planet exploration game. It just launched as early access (they're still adding features and polishing) but it's pretty rad. My kids love it. I've got it on Steam, and I'm waiting until it's fully completed to buy again on Xbox.

That looks great!

Is it very graphics intensive?

No, it's a voxel based engine. Not too demanding at all.

Processor: X64 Dual Core CPU, 2+ GHz

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Graphics: Discrete Non Mobile GPU with 1 GB Ram

Additional Notes: Internet connection required for online multiplayer

I love the artstyle, and my kids are absolutely enthralled. It's basically minecraft in space (with less features obviously).

Is it just exploration and building right now? Or is there danger (e.g. native flora/fauna, PvP) in the game?

The biggest danger right now is random storms, native plantlife, and dying from falling (which can happen) or running out of oxygen. It's a survival game with base building and exploration as the key elements (you can planet hop within your solar system right now). Also, it's an early access game, so they plan on adding features. Here's a nice summary of some of those things: http://blog.astroneer.space/p/roadmap/
