OSU's dismal performance

Recommended Posts

Ohio State looked horrible in the CFP and did not deserve to be playing in that game. I am wondering if their humiliating loss impacts any of their recruits including those NU has been after. They no longer should be held on a pedastal in the BIG.

They still beat us 62-3 and so any of their recruits such as Lindsey, will stay committed because they are young and these recruits can take OSU to the next level. I don't think it impacts of any of their recruits with the exception of one or two, but they will not chose Nebraska.

Perhaps not, but its widely accepted that NU lacks talent while OSU is loaded. I would be fine if some OSU recruits looked outside the Big Ten. I just think this loss puts a big black eye on Meyers credibility. Its onwle thing to lose a somewhat close game, but to lose so badly when OSU has more talent on paper may hurt OSU for a while. Now if Meyer is a good CEO he will can Beck and others and find better coaches as replacements.

It goes to show how difficult it is to be an elite team. I never thought OSU and an Urban Meyer coached team would get pummeled this badly. Louisville was an interesting team this year. Looked great against FSU and played Clemson close...but looked horrible today and against Houston. Houston also looked good and then fell apart. USC and Penn State also had bad losses this year. FSU and Colorado too got whacked at least one time this year. I hated our loss to OSU but that was just a weird game with Tommy going out and wheels falling off. Loss to Iowa was a let down too but we were banged up. I predicted 8 wins this year and we got 9. Time to move forward and close on these recruits. I think Gebbia will be a difference maker when he plays. Receivers will want to play here.
