RunMickeyRun02
I got the "Site is unsafe" page when trying to log in. It said this sites security certificate expired two days ago. I tried dumping my cache, I "Continued Anyway" and my latest post when I try to edit it the changes don't seem to stick. And sometimes have #'s and stuff where the ' and other punctuation should be. Using Chrome. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I'm not sure about the certificate thing. Possibly that needs to be updated, though I don't know how that works entirely. The other stuff seems like post editor issues -- there are a few peccadilloes with the input software. I haven't seen number signs substituted for punctuation, but I have seen edits sometimes not sticking. I haven't quite been able to nail down when that happens and when it doesn't, or if it's something I can easily avoid. 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
It's to do with the new SHA-2 certs. Depending on when the certs were created, warnings started as of Jan 1 2017. As of February 1 Chrome will start blocking all sites with the old insecure SHA-1 certs and firefox/IE will start complaining about it. 2 Quote Link to comment

AR Husker Fan
We're updating the certificate. As HuskerInLostWages noted, our security certificate expires, and we had to order and install a new one. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
My responses to peoples status don't seem to be sticking either. This one is odd. I tend to encounter more double posts than not sticking. Can you nail down under what circumstances this happens with regularity? I think sometimes, the page is a bit slow to respond. Usually, I click "comment" and it's instantaneous, but sometimes I'll have to wait a short while to make sure it goes through. If it does go through, it should appear on the page. I can't seem to make this happen now. I was responding to quite a few status in a short amount of time. Thank you for taking the time to address my concern. 1 Quote Link to comment
