Wow, all these from Ephesians and Deuteronomy.  Who knew?

I don't take part any of these things, except maybe rock music.  Although I think vegetarianism might actually be good for a person.  And I don't see any harm in things like Harry Potter movies, Halloween, or the occasional video game.  And as for fornication and Mary Jane, sure I may have boinked a few chicks and smoked a few bowls back in the day.  But who didn't?  So there's that.

Remote viewing?   WTF??  Is that some sort of sex thing?

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then winter came and the grasshopper died. And the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?

I've participated in, done, read about and/or enjoyed:

Cyberpunk culture
Meditation
Vegitarianism (only for a month)
Postmodernism
Astral projection
LotR
If reading Anne Rice's Lestat books counts as Vampirism, that too
"Marihauna"
Video Games
Dungeons & Dragons
Harry Potter
Halloween
Fornication
Rock Music
Heavy Metal

I'm probably more well-read on stuff like this than the common person, but I've never heard of:

Rosicrucianism
Remote viewing
Lycanthropy
Backmasking (unless this is an editing markup term, then I have)
Alt "comix"
Trilateralism

I'm thinking if you're familiar with all of these, maybe you're more in to this kind of stuff than against it. Kinda like how the folks who militantly protest homosexuality never skip a gay event. A little bit of "Ye doth protest too much" going on.

I'm doomed. 12 or 13 of them,....at least once. Probably more if knew what half of that stuff was.
Ouija boards
Levitation
Divination
Marijuana (but definitely not pot parties- momma told me not to go)
LSD/Shrooms (don't ask)
Video games
Harry Potter
Halloween
Fornication
Rock music
Heavy metal
Twilight films (my wife and daughter are bad influences)
Vegetarianism- well not exactly but I do eat my veggies.

At least séances are cool apparently.

Levitation

Wait a second, JJ.  Is levitation something you tried or something you did?

And Ouija boards--those things have always sort of scared me.  Even as a kid.  I may have tried it once or twice though.

Just tried levitating people back in elementary school days. Don't worry, it didn't work. It was about the same time we tried a seance. That may have worked a little bit....or somebody was screwing around with us. A baseball inexplicably rolled across the floor... Now that I think of it, the Ouija board experiment was about the same time frame also. I always figured the other person was moving the doohickey on purpose.

I'm not exactly sure what they meant for divination but I could find buried water lines with 2 copper rods. I believe it's called witching for water. I got it to work quite a few times and I've seen people who are really good at it. We weren't just playing around. We actually had need to locate buried water and drain lines.

I learned a cheap David Blaine style levitating optical illusion when I was in 4th grade so I guess I'm even more demonic than I thought.

When I was a teenager I used to be able to lay on my bed, relax relax relax, close my eyes, and project my consciousness outside my body. I remember very distinctly hovering near the ceiling of my bedroom and looking back down at myself laying on my bed. It wasn't a dream, I was definitely awake. Just as soon as I realized I had done it again I would get scared and go crashing back down into my body.

Last time I tried it was around 15 years ago. Couldn't do it.

And to verify, this was unrelated to the admission of "marihuana" use? Cuz I may or may not have had some similar experiences. ;-)

Ha ha!  Knapp, I'm fairly open minded about a lot of things.  But I'm going to have to be the doubting Thomas on this one.  If I saw it or experienced it, I'd believe.  Otherwise, not so much.

Yes, that was unrelated to smoking pot.  Years apart, actually.

Never had mushrooms, or anything harder than "marihuana."  (Who spells it that way, anyway???) Always wanted to try shrooms, coke, heroin, stuff like that, just to know what it's like to be those kinds of high, but never will because of the risk of addiction.  The juice is definitely not worth the squeeze on harder drugs.

I don't know for sure but I don't think shrooms are addicting. Only tried them a couple times back in my college days. They were kinda fun and harmless I guess, nothing too extreme. One bit of advise though, doing shrooms (and possibly drinking and smoking a little pot) and then jumping on a trampoline is maybe not the best idea.  We ate the shrooms and went to a nearby bowling alley, not sure why as we weren't really bowlers but, I remember it seeming like the bridge on Star Trek in there.  We didn't stay long as we were all kind of freaking out.  We went back to a buddies place at Chateau Le Fleur apartments and thought it would be a good idea to jump as high as we could on his trampoline. It's all good until you miss the tramp and land square on the support bar with the arches of your bare feet. It didn't really bother me at all that night but the next day both my feet were black and blue and I could barely walk. Also tried mescaline one night (at Pound Hall). That one is tough to describe. We laughed for hours and couldn't quit smiling but I don't really remember feeling anything else strange about it. In fact I smiled so much and so long that my cheek muscles actually hurt the next day.

Pretty sure I had LSD one time by complete accident.  Went to a Molly Hatchet/REO Speedwagon concert at Pershing. I took just a few sips of some girl's (who I didn't know) coke and I soon started seeing stuff. Molly Hatchet was the first act and when they took the stage the bass player's head was blue and about 3 foot long. I passed out before they began playing and did not see or hear one song by Hatchet. That still annoys me to this day.  But I did wake up between bands, felt exceptionally good and watched REO without incident. I'm not sure what it was but based on the hallucinations I always figured it was probably acid.

Anyway that's my experiences with the stuff that makes you see things.  I've never wanted to even try heroin or some of that harder stuff. Seems too scary when you see what it does to so many people.

Cocaine is lame. Did it twice. It just makes you want more coke.

I don't think there's a very high risk of getting addicted to shrooms, unless you're determined to get addicted. Worth trying once in your life.

So...like, is self-fornication a doorway to demonic possession? I mean, I know it's normal but what about like 14 times a day? Asking for a friend here.

It's when somebody else in the house is controlling the tv remote and you keep eyeballing it, waiting for your chance to get it back. Definitely a doorway to possession.
