Sker4Ever
Where does MR go with his next hire? I would assume that Donte Williams will now coach both Safties and Corners eliminating the need to hire another defensive backs coach. My guess is the next hire is a very solid recruiter. It could be Tavita but most likely with the addition of the 10th assistant he will be on staff anyway. This is an opportunity to get another solid recruiter to get more talent on campus. Thoughts? 1 Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
We might need to hire 2 coaches if Thompson goes to BYU Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
I think we have to splurge again. Hire the best recruiter we can find, hell give him the ST tag if you want. Other titles could be... TE Safeties OLB's We need another ace recruiter, personally, id like it to be a Texas guy. We have Cali covered. JP has been doing some work in a Florida. Bray has had success East and wherever, Diaco can help out there too. We could use some big gun down in Texas. Worst case though, id be okay if we got another West coast guy though. 1 Quote Link to comment

Well Tosh would be a great recruiter but there is no incentive for him to come here when he could be DC at Cal. ADS
Think the next needs to be either with the LB's or DL. Those areas are going to need the most attention with the transition. Needs to be a dynamite recruiter as well. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Tosh would be good... but why would he come for a lateral move? Quote Link to comment
Red Five
It makes no sense for him to come to NU, but I said "hope". Like I hope Kate Upton shows up in my bedroom tonight Quote Link to comment

Needs to be a dynamite recruiter as well. Tim Kish is the LB coach at OU and has worked in the BIG for several years. He's #14 on the recruiter list, but I don't know a lot about him otherwise to be honest. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Kish Quote Link to comment
ADS
Lupoi is probaby a pipe dream. He made $550,000 at Bama last year and if Wilcox is hired at Cal then Lupoi will be their DC. Quote Link to comment
Red Five
Do we go with an inside LB coach and a outside LB coach? 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
Tommy Thigpen is another in the top 25 recruiting rankings that has some good experience in the BIG and played in the NFL. He is currently at TN. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Thigpen Quote Link to comment

Lil' Red
Do we go with an inside LB coach and a outside LB coach? I doubt we hire another LB coach as it is Diaco's area of expertise. He helped coach LBs while DC at Notre Dame. 3 Quote Link to comment
