Scratchtown
Cards - Pitch, Texas Hold'em, Hearts, Golf Board Games - Balderdash, Monopoly, Clue, Sorry But my favorite game is "A game of things".Generally like any game, just because it's so rare to play anymore. Don't have a whole lot of friends that we would invite over to do any of this with since we moved. Family time is usually spent putting kids to bed during holidays and then we don't get to playing any games. Pisses me off every year. Every holiday. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Is Pitch a geographical game? Never heard of it until moving to Nebraska. Risk is AMAZING Spoons rocked Between the Sheets And Presidents and a$$hole$ I think pitch came from the old country...possibly Germany. When we were in Germany we were in a pub and a group of men were in the corner playing s game that looked very similar to pitch. Quote Link to comment

Risk is AMAZING Spoons rocked Between the Sheets And Presidents and a$$hole$ P&A is a good one. We play that with friends once in awhile. We just call it A$$hole. It goes well with over consumption of adult beverages. Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
Ticket to Ride is one of my all-time favorite board games. Easy game with high replay value. Have played the regular version as well as UK and Pennsylvania and each game is different enough and encourages different strategy. Just learned how to play Catan and loved it. That's another simple-ish game with high replay value. Some other games I have played and loved are Kingdom Builder, Formula D, 7 Wonders, Bezzerwizzer, Matter of Fact, Airlines Europe, and the list goes on. Learned how to play Pitch this year, and have played Cribbage with my dad since I was 13. Quote Link to comment

hskerholic
Sounds like we need to get a huskerboard pitch game going. We play it all the time with family in Nebraska. My neighbors in Iowa have never heard of it or played. Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
13 point pitch I do not like 10 point. Pinochle is the best card game hands down though, can't believe we don't have a single person in this thread for that game yet!! 1 Quote Link to comment
