BigRedBuster
I have only been to one game and I was able sit in the main level. Has anyone ever sat in the upper level? How is the view? Do you feel like you are a mile away from the court?I'm looking for 4-5 tickets to the game next Sunday (Purdue) and to get to the price I want to spend on that many tickets, I have to sit in the upper level. Also, any ideas on good places to buy tickets? The link above sends me to the same website all the other links do. Thanks for your input. Quote Link to comment
HuskermanMike
I am not picky and I do not mind sitting up top. Outside of the long walk up all those stairs it isn't that bad of a view. You can see the court just fine and the prices for those tickets come at a great value. It is worth it, but it does seem a little far away sitting high up, but you know you are in the arena when it is rocking! Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I just know that a couple years ago I bought tickets to an NBA game in Nashville for a group that were in an upper deck and I was very disappointed. Quote Link to comment
Swiv3D
Sat in the 3rd tier for the Iowa game and thought it was a pretty unique perspective. Could still see everything pretty easily, but since we were so high it made it easier to see offensive plays/defensive formations set up. If you've ever sat in the 3rd tier at United Center (Chicago), imo it's similar to that. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
I just know that a couple years ago I bought tickets to an NBA game in Nashville for a group that were in an upper deck and I was very disappointed. I have stood behind the press seats and it was great. Quote Link to comment
TNelson97
I have a handful of season tickets up there and for the price I love it. The atmosphere is not the same but the view is still very good Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
OK...I purchased three tickets in section 201 if I remember correctly off of VIVIDseats. I'm not necessarily complaining about the price because they can ask for what ever they want and I'm the one that bought them. But, when I received them, the face value was $12. Sort of made me say...Damn......With the site fees, the bill was over $200 for three tickets. What would you think the donation would have to be for these tickets on top of the face value? I'm just really hoping my wife doesn't see the "face value" or I'm going to spend the weekend hearing about how much I paid for these and how I waste money...bla bla bla..... Quote Link to comment
Mavric
My tickets are in 204 and the donation was $50 per seat. Not that that makes you feel any better. Surprised at how much ticket will sell for. It's been a pretty good investment for me. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
They were in the ball park for Sears around us. We pad slightly more because I needed 3 together. You going to the game Sunday? Quote Link to comment

BigRedBuster
Unfortunately it appears I spent $200 on tickets to a team that is 3-5 in conference play. Oh well. It'll be fun anyway. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I'd say it was worth it. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Wow...great game!!!!! You should have gone. Our seats were in the 7th row in section 201. So, we were clear in the corner in the back row in the second level. Quite frankly, I liked the seats. We weren't too far from the court and we were in the back row so we could stand if we wanted and didn't have to worry about people behind us. My son was able to go sit in the student section with my daughter so we had an empty seat to give us more room. Quote Link to comment
