Roy Moore's poll numbers among evangelicals went UP after the pedophile allegations were reported. And people are trying to rationalize Moore's actions as if this is no big deal. It's so crazy.

Wasn't that a sample taken really shortly after the initial news broke, though? If it's the one from this weekend, at least the first few days worth of polling wouldn't have reflected people developing an opinion on this.

 

Unless you're talking about a different sample... today two polls dropped with Moore +10 and Jones (D) +4. 

If his ratings among them DO end up going up, it's going to be because of the evangelical Alabaman's systemic distrust in mainstream media. They're really going to buy the line it's all a hit job designed to make him look bad for political purposes. 

In these extremely tribal times? I could see it.
