What famous person have you been told you resemble?  I'll go first. I've had multiple people, one about a couple hours ago (hence the thread), tell me I resemble Jason Aldean (without the hoop earrings).

Channing Tatum when he has to put on weight for a roll...and shrinks several inches.

I'm sadly not joking.

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then winter came and the grasshopper died. And the octopus ate all his acorns. Also he got a race car. Is any of this getting through to you?

the other isn't really a person...but my kids thought it was a picture of me on the brawny paper towel rolls (until they changed the picture a few years ago.)

Back when I had hair I got Elijah Wood a lot. I can definitely see that.

Now people see my shaved head and automatically go to Pitbull. Never mind that we don't look alike except for that.

I got Jeremy Renner recently when I was wearing a hat. I can see it in some pics.

I don't think I look like anyone famous.  Just a simple man (and a loner!) that stayed at a Holiday Inn once :)

Face isn't exactly the same shape, admo, but you look a little like Karl Pilkington from An Idiot Abroad.

Are you being serious Moiraine?
Because honestly that is pretty close to the mental image I have of you. Usually I'm way off when it comes to visualizing people I've never meet.

Funny story (for me anyway), there was this guy I used to talk on the phone with a lot for business. I pictured him as tall and extremely thin with sort of a Ned Flanders hair/bushy moustache thing going on. Ended up needing to meet him in person as I was hiring him as a work from home sales engineer. Flew him out to meet him and go over the details. Guy was bald, no facial hair, not very tall and he was HUGE and I'm not exaggerating as I'm kind of a chunk myself. Basically everything was the exact opposite of the image I had gotten talking to him on the phone for years.

That's funny. Whenever I hear a lower voice I assume it's someone who's bigger, and the opposite with higher voices.

And ya sorta serious. I've had 2 people tell me I look like Da Vinci paintings. (The other one is even less flattering so I'm not gonna share it).

Yeah I get it quite a bit, but I don't really see it. Probably the hat/beard.

This is probably more accurate:

It was about 2006+/-. It was before I did Facebook. And now it is after I've done Facebook.

It was an experiment. Wanted to have somebody generating sales for us in the Chicago area. Tried it for about a year. It didn't work out. His income was heavily reliant on commission sales and the sales didn't materialize.

I get one of these three most often, at about the same rate:

There's some player for the Royals that a friend always says I look like but I have no idea who it is. Thing is, I look dramatically different depending on the day/season. People always remark that I don't look like myself in pictures.
