JJ Husker
Are you being serious Moiraine? Because honestly that is pretty close to the mental image I have of you. Usually I'm way off when it comes to visualizing people I've never meet. Funny story (for me anyway), there was this guy I used to talk on the phone with a lot for business. I pictured him as tall and extremely thin with sort of a Ned Flanders hair/bushy moustache thing going on. Ended up needing to meet him in person as I was hiring him as a work from home sales engineer. Flew him out to meet him and go over the details. Guy was bald, no facial hair, not very tall and he was HUGE and I'm not exaggerating as I'm kind of a chunk myself. Basically everything was the exact opposite of the image I had gotten talking to him on the phone for years. Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
That's funny. Whenever I hear a lower voice I assume it's someone who's bigger, and the opposite with higher voices. And ya sorta serious. I've had 2 people tell me I look like Da Vinci paintings. (The other one is even less flattering so I'm not gonna share it). Quote Link to comment

It was about 2006+/-. It was before I did Facebook. And now it is after I've done Facebook. It was an experiment. Wanted to have somebody generating sales for us in the Chicago area. Tried it for about a year. It didn't work out. His income was heavily reliant on commission sales and the sales didn't materialize. Quote Link to comment
admo
Haven't heard of it or the show, but yeah Knapp I can kind of see it. +1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I think An Idiot Abroad is on Netflix. It's worth a watch if you like travel shows. Some of it is genuinely funny. Quote Link to comment
admo
Thanks I'll check into it. The first part of the title alone is fitting for me Quote Link to comment
