One of the best running backs ever in Husker Football #1. Now he lacked in other areas but one hell of a running back!

I never thought of him as one of the best, but to each their own...nebvspsu02.jpeg

really??!! I have watched most of the greats, and all of them since 1967, and I am not alone when I say he is in the conversation for the top 3 RB's of all time at DONU

#s are important to these guys. I remember in HS I made sure I had # 84 - the old Viking wide receiver Gene Washington. I could never catch as well as he did however. I was more of a blocking TE instead of a fleet footed WR - except for a couple plays where I set up wide. But the jersey # means a lot and it becomes a real source of pride if it is tied back to a dad's # or other relative or a favorite pro that they want to imitate.

Well TJ Alum, he was a great kickoff returner. And a good RB. But certainly not in the top 10. :lol:
